Andy Porter is a 2006 graduate of SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY-ESF) where he received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture as well as a Minor in Urban Environmental Science. Upon graduation he moved to Pennsylvania where he worked for a short time before relocating to North Carolina in 2007. Since 2007 he has gained valuable experience working on a variety of development projects in the Triangle region including rezonings, mixed use projects, residential communities, commercial, industrial, and urban infill. He is familiar with all phases of a project and his experience starts at the initial concept and goes though construction drawing approval and permitting. His favorite part of the design process is working out the details.

 

Andy is licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina and is also an ISA Certified Arborist.

He lives in Durham with his wife Pam, son George, dog Rosie (Redbone), and a few chickens.
